Baltistan also known as Little Tibet is a mountainous region in the Karakoram Mountains range. Baltistan borders Gilgit to the west, Xinjiang (China) in the north, Ladakh on the southeast and the Kashmir Valley on the southwest. Its average altitude is over 3,350 metres (10,990 ft).

Prior to 1947, Baltistan was part of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, having been conquered by Raja Gulab Singh's armies in 1840. Baltistan and Ladakh were administered jointly under one wazarat (district) of the state. Baltistan retained its identity in this set-up as the Skardu tehsil, with Kargil and Leh being the other two tehsils of the district. After the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir acceded to India, Gilgit Scouts overthrew the Maharaja's governor in Gilgit and captured Baltistan. The region is inhabited primarily by Balti people of Tibetan descent. Millennia-old Tibetan culture, customs, norms, language and scripts still exist, although the vast majority of the population follows Islam.

For centuries, the silk route has made its path through the mountainous regions of Baltistan, because of which Chinese-Tibetan, Persian-Arab and subcontinent cultural commensalism and intermingling was observed. This in return created an influence that has morphed the Balti culture into its contemporary variety. Similarly, Islam also plays an important role in it. Gilgit-Baltistan is home to a number of 

Day - 01:               Arrive Islamabad, local site seeing, Shakar Parian, Lok Virsa Museum, Faisal Mosque

Day - 02:               Drive to Chilas or flight to Skardu

Day - 03:               Drive to Skardu or free day for local site seeing.

Day - 04:               Free day for site seeing Shangrilla, Katchura lake and surroundings

Day - 05:              Drive to Shiger valley, Shiger fort, Amburik mosque and Khanqah mulla.

Day – 06:              Drive back to Skardu, visit Kharpocho fort then drive to Khaplu.

Day - 07:               Free day to explore the valley, Khaplu fort, Chaqchan mosque and surroundings

Day - 08:               Drive to Skardu visiting mantokha waterfall and other local surroundings

Day - 09:               Drive to sadpara dame, deosai pleatue, rama lake then to Astor

Day - 10:               Drive to Naran through Babusar pass and Lalusar Lake.

Day - 11:               Visit Lake saful malook and local site seeing.

Day – 12:               Drive to Islamabad through Kaghan, Shogran, Balakot, Mansehra and Abbottabad.

Day - 13:               Departure to home.

Services included:

  • Arrival & Departure:Airport – Hotel – Airport transfers (Pick Up and Drop off).
  • Accommodation: Neat, clean and best hotels, during the whole tour on Twin sharing basis.
  • Transportation: Air conditioned land transportation from Karachi to all the sites till Islamabad.
  • Food and Lodging: 3 times meals a day (Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge during the whole period of tour.
  • Guide: A well-educated, multilingual and Experienced guide will be provided who will be well aware of the local history and could elaborate the history and its impact to the visitors.

 Service Exclusions: 

  • Pakistan Entry Visa fee:Pakistani Visa fee.
  • International Flight: Members international flight tickets. 
  • Custom Charges: Any customs clearance charges on arrival of climbing gears.
  • Room Services: Room service, gratuities for personal services or items of a purely personal nature.
  • Extra night in Islamabad: Extra nights accommodation in Islamabad. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Insurance: Travel insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
  • Cancellation: Trip cancellation Insurance and charges.
  • Rescue Evacuation:Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests and Hospitalization costs.)
  • Personal Expenses:Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages (during the trek and in Islamabad but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in basecamp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
  • Any Unforeseen Expenses: Any unforeseen expenses (just like road blockage extra hotel stay or if members stay more days at Base Camp) then members will be pay according to the numbers of days basses. 
  • Late or Early Arrival: climbing member will arrive together. If any/some member split during the arrival time/period then there extra expenses will be charged according to normal price.
  • Personal Purchasing: Personal purchasing during the tour, from anywhere or anything.
  • Filming:Special Filming, Camera and Drone permit and its fee (if required).
  • Tips: Calculate some tips for Basecamp staffs. (minimum 300USD)
  • Extra:Any other services or activities, which are not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Any other item not listed in Cost Includes section.
